JOB DESCRIPTION
Jarrah engages qualified welders for structural and pipework welding on fabrication, installation, and maintenance requirements. Welding work is judged on whether it is built to specification and passes inspection, and the role is held to that standard.
The role requires certified welders who can work to the applicable welding procedure, produce sound welds under inspection, and maintain the safety discipline that fabrication and site welding demand.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform structural and pipework welding to procedure
- Produce welds that meet inspection and test requirements
- Work from drawings and welding procedure specifications
- Maintain welding equipment and consumables
- Observe safety discipline on the the work
- Support fabrication, installation, and repair scopes
